The region’s many churches and chapels are beautiful and appear as if from a picture book. The Catholic parish church of St. Gilgen, the pilgrimage church of St. Wolfgang and the historic Postal Chapel are undisputedly among the most beautiful destinations on Lake Wolfgang and its surroundings.

In if you would like go higher: With the Zwölferhorn cable car and the Schafberg mountain railway you can easily reach the summit. Visit the rustic cabins, alpine pastures and snack stations and let yourself be spoiled by sweet and hearty delicacies.
