There is a song about the "Alm der Almen" (the best mountain pasture area of all!) and, those who have been on the Laimeralm know that this description is not exaggerated! The rustic mountain hut dates from the 17th century and its location is especially beautiful. The wonderful view over Lake Wolfgangsee and the surrounding mountains, as well as the many possible outdoor pursuits plus, of course, the music played by 3 generations of musicians - are all some of the features why the Laimeralm has been a special attraction for decades. Hire the Laimeralm for your exclusive celebration (events; weddings; stag parties; brunch; birthday or confirmation celebrations, etc.), or attend a "genuine alpine hut evening" or have pre-lunch drinks (which are served on the terrace when the weather is nice)! Prior reservation is helpful. You can find the dates on our website. We have pleasure in serving you meat dishes from our own organically-managed farmland. This extra-special restaurant at 800m above sea level is only open for special events - we do not open daily.
