It's not just the tea range with over 100 tea varieties that is "very British" here. The fine curry blends on the shelves are also a speciality. After all, Ronald Eichenauer, who is married to an Englishwoman, is a passionate amateur chef himself and knows how to appreciate these spice blends. Among the 10 curry blends, the "Purple Curry" with hibiscus and rose petals or the fine "Lemon Curry" with dried lemons and fenugreek are among his personal favourites. These special blends are also used in the restaurant's own WOK restaurant in St. Wolfgang. "My grandfather used to make herbal blends according to his own recipes. However, the first product a good 70 years ago actually came from my grandmother," says Eichenauer: "The pine syrup. Our Our syrup comes from the Abtenau region of Salzburg, where silver fir is very common." "The tops of this fir tree are the best, as their active ingredients have a calming effect on the lungs and bronchial tubes.
