In addition to a marvellous view of the surroundings, guests are also offered a technically challenging and varied game. Not fashionable and not snobby - but incredibly endearing. Even less good shots are usually forgiven and balls are rarely lost. The "Ischl greens" have the best reputation, even beyond the region. There are modern golf carts and, of course, Hannes Hettegger's well-known pro shop with its first-class selection and testing facilities. Tournaments with world-class players such as Severiano Ballesteros, Mark McNulty and Gordon Brand have contributed to the popularity of the club and golf in the region. In May 2002, two-time Masters winner Jose Maria OLAZABAL offered two days of golf at its finest on this course The spacious driving range with bunker and chipping green invite you to practise. The club's pros, supported by the latest computer and video technology, cater to the individual needs of the students. The secretary's office will be happy to reserve a favourite tee time or flight for you. The clubhouse offers a modern cloakroom and sanitary facilities. Guests are spoilt with culinary delights in the golf restaurant.
