The traditional cog railway takes you up the 1,783 m high Schafberg in idyllic comfort.
Austria's steepest steam cog railway has been running from St. Wolfgang to the Schafberg since 1893. It takes 35 minutes to climb 1,190 metres in altitude and 5.85 km to the top of the Schafberg.

Pure idyll in a natural paradise! Gasthof Kleefeld on Lake Wolfgangsee is a stand-alone recreational and hiking paradise in the mountains.
The 3-star hotel offers beautiful, country-style rooms with all the extras, a wellness area and a children's playground. A cosy restaurant (50 seats) and the experience restaurant "Kleefeldstadl" for up to 150 seats and a fully equipped seminar room for 8 to 20 people. A wildlife park with many hiking trails stretches around the Kleefeld. Fish ponds with trout, salmon trout and sturgeon for the hotel's own fish supply complete the offer. Fish and game specialities, home-made pastries from the kitchen as well as wine and schnapps from our cellar will delight you time and again.
