You will receive your Wolfgangsee Card from your host upon check-in. The card is available free of charge for stays of one night or more at all participating accommodation providers in the Wolfgangsee area. The Wolfgangsee Card is available from the age of 3 and is valid for the entire duration of your stay. The services offered may vary depending on the season.

The WolfgangseeSchifffahrt has been in operation since 1873 and, as Austria's largest inland lake fleet, offers spontaneous hop on/hop off at seven stops: It stops at the towns of Strobl, St. Wolfgang and St. Gilgen and several other beautiful spots.
Austria's steepest steam cog railway has been running from St. Wolfgang to the Schafberg since 1893. It takes 35 minutes to climb the 1,190 metres to the top of the Schafberg.
Around 12 kilometres above Strobl am Wolfgangsee lies the largest contiguous alpine pasture area in Austria - and the second largest high plateau in Europe: the Postalm.
Strobl's three natural beaches (Felmayer sunbathing lawn, Wasswiese sunbathing lawn, Gschwendt sunbathing lawn) invite you to cool off and relax and enjoy Lake Wolfgangsee and its dreamlike ambience.
