Following the successful mundART Festival, everything at Lake Wolfgang is all about art at the moment. For the fourth time, St. Wolfgang is hosting the Art Circle Festival. As is tradition, the festival will take place alongside the Maypole-raising ceremony on 30 April. On the sporting front, the Schafberg Run awaits, which this year also serves as the venue for the Austrian Mountain Running Championships.

The traditional cog railway takes you up the 1,783 m high Schafberg in idyllic comfort.
Austria's steepest steam cog railway has been running from St. Wolfgang to the Schafberg since 1893. It takes 35 minutes to climb 1,190 metres in altitude and 5.85 km to the top of the Schafberg.
