Once again this year, many different folk music groups from all over Austria will be playing in the gymnasium of the new middle school in Strobl.
The people around Lake Wolfgangsee are not only very hospitable, but also extremely musical.Every village has at least one orchestra and in many parlors and inns, music is played spontaneously for fun.
Once a year, the love of music is officially celebrated with a singers' and musicians' meeting.
This year marks the 41st time, and because that's only half the fun, friends of folk music from all over Austria are invited to Strobl.
