World record attempt with strongman Franz Müllner

On 13 May 2026, Lake Wolfgangsee will be the scene of a unique moment: one of the strongest men in the world, Franz Müllner, will pull two ships simultaneously - the MS Austria and the MS Salzkammergut . A feat of strength that not only stands for an official world record, but for something much bigger: hope and support for the butterfly children.

Lake Wolfgangsee has always stood for natural power, tradition and magical places full of energy. This special place of power in the Salzkammergut will be the emotional focus of an event that combines top sporting performance with social responsibility. Because this record is about more than just muscle power. The world record attempt is also a strong sign of solidarity for the so-called butterfly children - children who live with the rare skin disease epidermolysis bullosa and have to show enormous strength every day. Donors are invited to become part of this special day for the benefit of EB-Haus Austria in Salzburg, a center of expertise for epidermolysis bullosa and also a special clinic for "butterfly children". Every person who makes a donation for the butterfly children will receive a place on one of the two world record ships as a thank you.
