Word Pirates and Idea Explorers – Creative Writing for Children and Teens

During these two hours, you’ll learn how ideas turn into adventures: We’ll invent unusual characters with unique talents and create our own story. Playful writing exercises and word games will help us along the way.
No prior experience is necessary—just a desire for imagination, adventure, and writing your own story. You can submit your story to the Strobler Story Treasure Chest.

You'll need

• paper, a notepad, or a notebook for writing
• pens

What you’ll take home

• Creative writing techniques and inspiration.
• You’ll strengthen your self-awareness using simple and creative methods.
• You’ll get into the flow of writing and say goodbye to writer’s block.
• The best ideas are inside you. It’s not that hard to write them down.

This workshop is suitable for

• children and teens aged approximately 10–14
• Children who can already write.
