St. Catherine's Dance

St. Catherine's Dance

Closing of the traditional dance season

“Kathrein puts an end to dancing”—so goes the popular saying. The Kathrein Dance traditionally marks the end of the dance season and the transition into the Advent season.

Under the motto “Don’t Say No to Kathrein!”, the Mozarthaus invites you to this year’s Kathrein Dance. In keeping with the tradition of this special evening, the rule is: If a gentleman is asked to dance by a lady, the spirit of the Kathrein Dance dictates that he shouldn’t say no—he should join in the dance.

The St. Gilgener Tanzlmusi and the Trachtenverein D’Abersseea will provide the music. To complement the festivities, guests can look forward to a snack buffet featuring hearty delicacies.

Doors open: 6 :30 p.m.
