The "Gschmå-Places" at Lake Wolfgangsee

The ‘Gschmå-Platzln’ are a good choice when it comes to discovering the region around Lake Wolfgangsee and these select places offer a perfect place to relax and enjoy. For example, the Scheffelblick on the Falkenstein, named after a German Romantic poet. Or the Malersteig trail above St. Wolfgang, whose vantage points - as the name suggests - have inspired generations of artists. The ‘Gschmå-Platzln’ can also be found directly on the lakeshore, such as the wooden and accessible water lily pads with a view of the village of Strobl.

Gschmå Platzl water lilies in Strobl: The picture shows an idyllic lake with a wooden jetty with several traditional boats on the shore. Trees can be seen in the background, their branches stretching across the lake. Two people are sitting on a bench on the jetty and appear to be enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
