Around 12 kilometres above Strobl am Wolfgangsee lies the largest contiguous alpine pasture area in Austria - and the second largest high plateau in Europe: the Postalm. Numerous hiking trails lead through the vast alpine pasture area, where many alpine huts invite you to enjoy a hearty snack. The way there leads along the well-developed Postalmstraße, a panoramic road with breathtaking views.
