In 2026, the Zinkenbach Artists’ Colony Museum will, for the first time, be dedicating an exhibition to private collections relating to the artists of the Zinkenbach Artists’ Colony. The focus will be on the passion for collecting, personal connections to art and previously undiscovered estates. On display will be numerous works by Josef Dobrowsky, Ernst Huber, Ludwig Heinrich Jungnickel, Ferdinand Kitt, Sergius Pauser, Lisel Salzer and others, many of which have never before been shown in public – an exhibition about art, emotion and hidden treasures.
