The Aberse local history museum Lipphaus at the Breitenbachbauer in Strobl dates from around 1500 and is first mentioned in a document as Prayttenbach von der straß in 1540.



The name "Lipphaus" comes from "Philippus" Eisl, who purchased the house in 1574, making it a feeder of the Breitenbach estate.
