Our sports club was founded in March 1959.
The founding chairman Johann Eisl (Adambauer) was primarily thinking of a football club at the time. It was run as such for the first six years. From the former football club, USC Abersee developed into a multi-sports club, which today comprises 5 sections: Football, winter sports (founded in 1965), endurance sports (formerly Volkssport) (founded in 1973), table tennis (founded in 1974) and curling (founded in 1982).
