Vacations at the Klinglerbauer in Strobl on Lake Wolfgangsee

Our farm is located in the countryside & sunny on the outskirts of Strobl - in the beautiful Salzkammergut. Strobl is known for its idyllic location, the proximity to the Postalm and the easy accessibility of St. Wolfgang and Bad Ischl. The public bathing area, the boat landing stage (only a 10-minute walk away) and the bus stop for excursions are within easy reach. 🚎⛵

🐄 Animals and nature - right in the middle instead of just being there
Our animals live in a species-appropriate environment: the cows and calves enjoy their modern loose housing. In summer , our young cattle are on the mountain pasture - right at the foot of the Postalm. Our cats roam around the house, checking that everything is in order 🐱. And Mira, our dog, watches over the house and farm 🐶 Children can help with feeding, work in the barn or simply watch the animals. The garden and a small play area offer plenty of space to run around.

✨ Holiday apartments in our former stable - converted with love
We - Elli & Franz Eisl - run the Klinglerbauer together with our 4 adult children Martin, Katharina, Michaela and Anna. Our old stable was still in use 2 years ago. With a lot of hard work and our own efforts, we have created 3 beautiful vacation apartments - bright, friendly and with lots of wood and attention to detail. Each apartment offers space for 2 - 5 people, has its own entrance and is furnished with a fully equipped kitchen, living area and bathroom with shower & WC. The apartments all have a French balcony. The garden is for our guests only - here you can relax, play or simply enjoy the peace and quiet 🌿. You can conveniently park your car in the carport - it stays cool in summer and snow-free in winter. Our farm is equipped with a photovoltaic system and an e-charging station is available. Sustainability is important to us - we live with nature and think about tomorrow.

☀️ Summer activities around Strobl
In summer, you can set off on hikes or bike rides directly from the farm. Lake Wolfgangsee invites you to go swimming, boating or stand-up paddling. The Postalm offers easy hiking trails and wonderful alpine air. For excursions to Bad Ischl or Salzburg, simply take the bus or, if possible, the boat - ideal for families without a car. A real insider tip: a ride on the Schafbergbahn cable car or a circular hike on the Zwölferhorn 🚴♀️🛶.

❄️ Wintertime at the farm - small, fine & familiar
When it snows, it gets particularly cozy with us. A small toboggan hill awaits children directly behind the house - we are happy to provide toboggans. The Postalm is ideal for families: wide pistes and many winter hiking trails. If you want a little more, take the ski bus to the Dachstein-West ski area 🎿. Cross-country ski trails can be found behind the house - and the Wolfgangsee Advent brings lights, atmosphere and special moments.
