The Summer Nights 2026 will take place on 22 June, 6 and 20 July and 3 and 17 August in the center of St. Wolfgang.
The summer nights in St. Wolfgang are legendary and a must-attend event for music and food lovers far beyond the Salzkammergut region. Once again this year, St. Wolfgang invites you to enjoy culinary delights and thrilling rhythms.You can stroll through St. Wolfgang accompanied by relaxed music, while the aroma of delicious food fills the air. The gentle summer breeze from Lake Wolfgang refreshes your skin, and you can meet friends and guests over a cool drink - the St. Wolfgang Summer Nights embody all of this. The success of this series of events is remarkable. The summer nights have been held in St. Wolfgang for 29 years and their fascination is unbroken.
Culinary and musical delights
Delicacies as far as the eye can see - a total of 16 restaurants and young farmers from St. Wolfgang take part in the Summer Nights. Angus beef burgers, wooden dumplings, fresh foam rolls, truffle fries, oysters & champagne, farmer's bosna, chanterelle sauce with bread dumplings, Mediterranean scampi skewers and the popular pulled pork burgers will make the hearts of locals and guests beat faster. Things get refreshing at Uferplatz, where cocktails such as mojito, piña colada, children's cocktails and more are served. The motto is: taste, feast and enjoy. The Summer Nights offer a wide range of music: Salzkammergut folk music, pop/rock, Dixieland, folk and brass bands. This year's line-up includes: Sound Gurus, Jimmy Petterson's Father & Sons Band, The Helagunkis, A.M.S., Steirer Buam, Harry Ahamer, Markus Marageter, Markus Peitli, Axl Scheutz, Stephan Heiner & Börns Funky Fingers, Atterland Dixie and many more.
NEW this year: "Machtig Trachtig" is the motto for the last summer night of the season on August 17!
Summer nights take place whatever the weather
The festival zone is equipped throughout with uniform, huge parasols (4 x 4 meters), which also serve as large-scale rain protection if required.
The festival mile stretches from Postplatz via Michael-Pacher-Straße and Marktplatz to Uferplatz by the lake.
Five music groups perform each summer night, changing their performance venues/stages.
The Greinz ferry runs again until 10 pm during the summer nights.
The Ratz boat service also offers trips between St. Gilgen and St. Wolfgang, subject to prior reservation.
The music groups play until 11 pm and drinks are served until midnight.
Admission to the summer nights is free.
