The monks of the European Monastery Aich in St. Gilgen invite you to visit.
The newly founded Benedictine monastery (1993) lies on an old pilgrim’s path between Mondsee and St. Wolfgang, in the hamlet of Winkl of the village of St. Gilgen. Visit of the monastery, join the holy mass, visit of the herb gardens, a tour of the monasteries cellar. Liquor tasting and shopping in the monasteries shops are possible. Guided tour of the gold and silver blacksmith’s shop.
Monday to Friday: 8 a.m to 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.,
Saturday: 8 a.m. to noon and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.,
Sunday: 10 a.m. to noon
On every Thursday from June to October guided tour: 2.30 p.m.
