mundART Festival - Lake Wolfgangsee serves up culinary delights
The mundART Festival will take place on Lake Wolfgangsee from 25 April to 4 May 2025. The festival focuses on the regional and traditional cuisine of Lake Wolfgangsee. True to the motto: Lake Wolfgangsee serves up culinary delights.
Numerous culinary events take place during the mundART Festival. In addition to events such as the mundART Roas and the mundART Mysterybox cookery show in St. Wolfgang, the mundART Gondeln in St. Gilgen and the mundART gourmet market on the lakeside promenade in Strobl, some businesses offer kitchen parties, cookery courses and wine and cheese tastings.

The traditional cog railway takes you up the 1,783 m high Schafberg in idyllic comfort.
Austria's steepest steam cog railway has been running from St. Wolfgang to the Schafberg since 1893. It takes 35 minutes to climb 1,190 metres in altitude and 5.85 km to the top of the Schafberg.
